ENDODONTIC PROCEDURES
These procedures are done to save tooth rather removing those. such procedures are performed when soft tissue which is known as pulp gets inflamed or infected due to deep decay repeated dental procedures on the tooth, crack In tooth or trauma to tooth.
Root Canal
Such procedures are finished in one/two visits. it involves the removal of inflamed pulp followed by cleaning of root canals and filling using gutta percha.
Surgical Endodontics
(APICOECTOMY)At times, Root canal treatment will not be sufficient for the tooth and surrounding tisues to heal properly in that scenario gums near the root are exposed and an opening is made in the bone over the root tip, the diseased tissue is removed and the root tip is cleaned and sealed under local anaesthesia. It is completed in single sitting.
