Scaling /professional teeth cleaning makes the tooth thinner leading to sensitivity
Professional cleaning removes only the tartar /calculus and plaque stuck to the tooth without damaging the tooth underneath.when large amount of deposits are removed you may have the feeling that teeth have become thinner but this will last only for a short while.
Milk teeth fall off naturally ;saving them is not important
milk teeth will naturally at different stages of the growth of the child between 6 and 12 years of age.
Premature loss of posterior (back)milk teeth will reduce the size of the jaw ,hampering its growth. This may also lead to greater chances of crowding of the upcoming permanent teeth .
The more the force of brushing the cleaner your teeth will be
The more the force we apply while brushing especially with hard bristled brushes the more is the amount of enamel getting worn off over a period of tie .This eventually leaves the teeth with a scooped out appearance close to gums causing sensitivity.
Powdered charcoal cleanses teeth more effectively than toothpaste
Powdered charcoal is one of the oldest tooth cleaning and material used .It has antibacterial and antifungal properties which help in fighting the germs present on the teeth and gums. But long term use of charcoal on the teeth can lead to “wearing off” enamel and staining which gradually leads to severe sensitivity.
Root canal treatment(RCT) is done only when the tooth starts hurting
RCT is done to save the tooth .The sooner it is done the more tooth structure is preserved and as a result the outcome of the treatment is more predictable .An infected ,painful tooth takes longer time to heal.
