ANTI SNORING DEVICE

Snoring is the result of an obstruction that prevents air from moving freely through the nose and /or mouth.Anti snoring devices come in the form of pillows,mouth pieces and mouthguards In dentistry, commonly used anti snoring device is mandibular advancement device.This consist of one transparent splint for the upper jaw and one for the lower jaw.The lower jaw is either held in a predetermined position or advanced by two connectors that are fixed laterally to the splint.

Ant snoring  device counteracts the narrowing of the respiratory tracts and thus the velocity  of the inspired air decreases and so does the noise generating vibrations of the soft tissues.
